Great video of Lexington! I really enjoyed the walking tour with narration. I think it provides a true representation of the city. It brought back good memories. My husband and I lived and worked in Lexington (and in neighboring Georgetown) for over 30 years.

Washington DC and also Patterson California are wagon wheel layouts...

I grew up in Johnson City (1959-1979), as did my parents. What is now called Johnson City looks nothing like the vibrant and incredible downtown that was within walking distance of my home. In the 70s the “big fish in our small pond” wanted to push business from downtown to the north end of the town. They did and destroyed the city in the process. I wish I could show everyone just 1 day in 1964 and a stroll through downtown at Chrismas. It truly was magical.

Thanks for the great video. I’m a retired steel salesman, living in suburban Cincinnati and used to have a lot of customers in Hamilton and Fairfield, OH. Also, a semi pro jazz guitarist, having played gigs at Tano Bistro near the German Village, Lane Public Library, played a couple at a bar on the west side, which may be the location of the RollOn In restaurant. Have played many recording sessions (for free, as a favors to friends). Played a recording session at 3rd Street Music and was paid pretty well for a short recording.

So cool. I walked this in 2019. It was June and there was more aquatic vegetation in the water. The "Green Terrace" cafe at 22:10 looks like a nice place to stop. Behind that is Honen-in, a small tranquil temple. The side trips off of the route to temples and shrines were the highlight for me. But that would make this a much, much longer video. :)

That canal looked ancient. Do you know if it was man- made? Looked like a good skeeter breading ground. After a good rain all a body would need is a big inner tube.

If you go out to the powerplant, you will see 3 smoke stacks. 2 of them are twins and i worked for the company that built them back in the 70s. I fell in love with that town and wanted to move there, but my wife didn't want to move away from her family. I did get to watch the thunder on the Ohio boat race from the top of the smoke stacks!

Hi, I sent this to a friend who was on holiday there and she said it was very good, but you missed the Amber museum and the Fisherman's Reading Rooms, apparently, which are well worth a visit as well.

Clarksville is nice but they''re not showing you all of it. It's not as clean as they make it out to be. I grew up here since 1963 what they don't tell you that it was once a nice quiet town until everyone started moving here and now it has went straight to HELL, KIllings everyday, Theft, and dirty So don't believe everything you see. CRIME has went out the ROOF here now.

Wish you would have turned the camera so we could have seen actual footage of the pasture and land! Not just the road!

That was a very long walk. For a shorter walk to the red bridge and a great view of the bay, get off at Matsushimakaigan station instead.

Very nice. I love me some Japanese gardens. I like the way they pave their pathways and sidewalks with bricks or in block forms. It exudes a certain charm, but I think if I had to live around those Crains very long, they would get on my last nerve.
